Rainbow Family Gatherings

The Rainbow Family means different things to different people. Different versions of the Native America Prophecies that talk about the coming of the Rainbow Tribe. Included are various interpretations of the Hopi prophecies, as well as other tribes. Rainbow Gatherings are temporary, intentional, off-grid communities focused on peace, love, and living in harmony with nature. They are organized by the "Rainbow Family of Living Light", a loosely affiliated, leaderless counterculture movement that has met annually on U.S. National Forest land since 1972.
